The past few weeks have been crazy, yet some of the most awe-inspiring times for the greater Houston area!

Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent flooding caused quite a bit of devastation in and around North Houston. It’s been fantastic to see the community come together and support one another! Thankfully, we only saw mild flooding here at Magnolia Meadows, which was a tremendous blessing!

Our hearts go out to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. We would like to support our wedding community and brides during this difficult time. If you are a displaced bride, or know someone who is, we would love to help. Please contact us about our available fall/winter 2017 dates.

Stunning vintage chandeliers

The Barn’s interior was in desperate need of some larger than life light fixtures; which gave Spencer the opportunity to custom design and build two stunningly beautiful 8ft diameter chandeliers! Solid oak and vintage styled iron were the perfect materials for these truly unique chandeliers. Securely attaching them to the trusses on the ceiling was no small task.

The vintage amber light bulbs really add a neat affect to the overall ambiance of the room, creating a warm glow that’s perfect for a romantic evening. They have truly become one of the centerpieces of the room!

Texture, paint, trim and light fixtures, oh my!

We were able to substantially complete the texture and paint throughout the great room. Adding stained hardwood trim was the perfect finishing touch to tie the ceiling in with the rest of the room. The light colored walls will be perfect for photography, allowing for plenty of light to be reflected to get those perfect shots! Additional lighting was placed around the edges of the great room to provide more consistent illumination.

The Grand Staircase

The beautiful hardwood grand staircase, made of oakwood milled by Spencer, is a great addition to the room. Brides will be able to walk down the staircase, as a grand entrance to her special day!
